Who would have thought that a first date at the Blue Anchor—Jenna in her basketball jersey, ordering the two cheapest things on the menu (a Molson Canadian and a poutine)—would lead us here, surrounded by all the people we love most, ready to say "I do"? Our story began when Jenna joined John’s softball team. Right from the start, we were both interested in each other, harboring mutual crushes that everyone on the team could see. After a full season of playful banter and teammates acting as go-betweens, we finally went on our first date. And then another… and another. Before long, Jenna moved in with John—and the rest, as they say, is history. Throughout the years, we’ve spent a lot of time apart—whether Jenna was off studying in Kingston or England—but even across the distance, our connection only grew stronger. From FaceTime dates to counting down the days until we were reunited, we learned to cherish every moment together, no matter how small. Now, we’re home for good, ready to embrace life’s next big adventure—together. We can’t wait to celebrate this incredible moment with all of you.

During Jenna’s time in England, John planned a two-week trip to visit her and explore Italy and Croatia together. Not long into the trip, on a romantic beach in Venice, John got down on one knee—eager to propose after nearly losing the ring the day before! We were lucky to share this unforgettable moment with our close friends who you’ll see standing by our side in the wedding party. There were happy tears, endless laughter, and plenty of Limoncello to go around.
