Sholeh's caring nature has allowed Jen to be herself around her and opened her up to feeling sisterly support during both high and low times. And if you want a funny story, ask her about the time Jen broke her mom's very special wooden spatula. Across fifteen years, their connection has only grown stronger, woven together by adventures in Mexico, road trips to the Grand Canyon, countless late nights filled with music and laughter, and cherished moments of support and understanding. Jen feels so lucky to share this day with her by her side as her MOH.

A mentor, a role model, and a true confidant, Wing has been pivotal in shaping Kevin’s journey, from college to career, and the person Kevin is today. Through laughter, shared meals, and countless memories, Wing has always been there, introducing Kevin to new experiences and inspiring his growth. Kevin couldn’t ask for a better best man and is profoundly grateful to have him by his side on this special day.

Fate had a hand in bringing Jen and Mindy together, where what began as a professional relationship quickly blossomed into a deep and lasting friendship. Jen was instantly drawn to Mindy’s warmth, humor, and infectious energy. A memory that Jen hold's close to her heart is going to Napa to watch a bluegrass band where one of Jen's favorite band members was playing. Mindy, seized the moment during intermission to have Jen meet the artist when they ran into him outside the venue--completely making Jen's year. Throughout their friendship, Mindy has introduced Jen to incredible music, delicious food, and fine wine, enriching her life in countless ways. Their connection is built on honesty, adventure, and just the right touch of spice—making every moment together unforgettable.

Kevin and Adam first met at community college, where their friendship blossomed over late-night laughter, nerdy escapades, and maybe just a little too much to drink. One of the most legendary moments of their friendship was when Kevin, in a drunken haze, wrestled Adam in a parking lot to prevent him from driving—because that’s what real friends do. And if you ever need a good laugh, just ask Adam about the time he sat through an entire graduation ceremony, only to realize it wasn’t even Kevin’s. Through all the chaos and the fun, Adam has been an unwavering friend, and Kevin is thrilled to have him as a groomsman.

There are friends, and then there are comadres—the kind of bond that transcends titles. Though not official comadres just yet, Jen and Mayra share a connection stronger than even the densest concha from the local supermarket (the kind that requires a cafecito to wash down). Over the past eight years, Mayra has been a pillar of patience, unwavering love, and wholehearted acceptance in Jen’s life. United by their shared cultural roots, language, and a fierce passion for women’s empowerment, their friendship is one of deep understanding and unshakable support. She's even visited the little town of Coyotitan, Sinaloa, the quaint little town in Mexico where Jen spent many hot summers, had her first communion, and learned how to argue with her boy cousins. Jen knows that no matter the occasion, she can count on Mayra to show up—whether with a warm hug, cookies, or, if necessary, a well-placed knuckle sandwich for whoever dares cross Jen.

Kyle and Kevin’s friendship started in high school, and it didn’t take long for them to become fast friends. Their teenage years were filled with mischief, questionable decisions, and a series of adventures that somehow left them in one piece. Their shared love of video games and adventure led to one of their most memorable moments: an unforgettable road trip across California at 18—just two kids in search of freedom and good times. Over the years, through late-night gaming sessions and endless laughter, Kyle has been an incredible friend to Kevin, and he’s honored to have him standing beside him today.

Cortney is the epitome of a ride or die—effortlessly stylish and endlessly loyal. When Jen first met her, she was admittedly a bit intimidated by Cortney’s brilliance, charisma, and impeccable fashion sense. But as time passed, Jen came to see the warmth, generosity, and kindness that make Cortney truly one of a kind. Like the time she acted quick and took a pop corn bag that Jen accidently burned at her office microwave, placed it in a garbage bag, took it down four floors and out to the front of their office building-- successfully preventing the floor's fire alarm from going off and Jen from melting into the ground out of embarrassment. With a heart as big as her ambition (and let’s be honest, her earnings), Cortney’s friendship has been a breath of fresh air. While it may have taken Jen a little longer to trick Cortney to be her friend, the wait was more than worth it!

Kevin and Nathan first met in 2014 while interning for Congressman Alan Lowenthal, but their true bond formed over one simple question: “Do you play D&D?” From there, they connected over their shared passion for storytelling, strategy, and rolling dice in dimly lit rooms. But beyond fantasy adventures, their friendship also grew through a mutual love for music, urban planning, video games and spending hours discussing the art and causes that inspire them both. Nathan is the kind of friend who turns every conversation into an adventure, and Kevin feels incredibly lucky to have him as part of his life and this special day.

Just to set the record straight, Jen met Ryan first, so there’s a little bit of leverage there! But honestly, both Jen and Kevin absolutely adore Ryan's opinionated, larger-than-life personality. He’s the real deal when it comes to loyalty and commitment. Ryan doesn’t care about your imperfections—he embraces all the quirky, sometimes less presentable sides of you that others might shy away from. And that’s what makes him so wonderful. With Ryan, you know you can truly be yourself, and he’ll choose to stick by your side no matter what. He’s got your back, always. That’s why we’re beyond thrilled to have him officiate our “unofficial” wedding. He’s sharp, knows how to pick the perfect words, and has a killer sense of humor. He’s got petals, he’s got poise, and he’s fully prepared to 'rose' to the occasion! With a cocktail in one hand and his cat, Darth Mango, in the other Daniel is down for a spontaneous dance-off or an impromptu piano concert (whether you asked for it or not). Being friends with him has meant endless laughter, wild adventures, and a VIP pass to the most accepting, weird, and wonderful community. You can be your absolute strangest self around him—he’ll roast you for it, sure—but then he’ll turn around and out-weird you. Though we haven't known each other for long, his presence in my (Jen) life has felt nothing short of extraordinary and I look forward to many more East Sac cat adventures or karaoke nights.
