Kenneth and I met a year ago, after being introduced by a mutual friend. We'd recently moved to Oakland and coincidentally, landed at SFO on the same night January 15, 2022. I, Jennifer, had moved from Indiana after graduating from my nursing program and becoming an ICU Registered Nurse. Kenneth had moved from Germany after completing his dual Master's Degree in Telemedicine and Healthcare Management. Our first date was March 14, 2022 which consisted of dinner, watching the sunset and playing fun games at an event center. Our connection was instant as we shared the same goals, family upbringing and sense of humor. I admired his kindness and strong faith the most. On September 14th, 2022, my 29th Birthday, Kenneth surprised me with a vacation and proposal at the Lake of Dreams - WYNN Las Vegas. It was the easiest 'YES.' Because we were both ready to settle down, it was easy to grow swiftly in our marriage and careers as I'm working as a Medical Surgical Nurse and Kenneth as a Level 5 Manager at a Fortune 100 company while completing his MBA May 2023.
