Jen and Ben met in Clewiston, Florida in March 2018, when they both were working in the lonesome city. Jen was doing a required rural rotation in the area, that she tried to get out of many times but destiny wouldn't allow her, as someone special was unknowingly waiting for her to arrive. For their first date, Jen cooked a homemade meal and they enjoyed watching the sunset on Lake Okeechobee. The relationship began by sharing authentic Mexican meals on lunch breaks, taking walks in nature admiring wildlife (and each other) and competitively playing Mario Kart on N64. Their love grew on a beautiful day trip to Ft. Myers Beach and sparks flew when celebrating Cinco de Mayo in St. Pete. It didn't take long for them to realize that their affection for one another was strong and they didn't want to be apart. When Jen moved from FL for residency, Ben graciously and bravely followed her to NYC, where their lives quickly merged in their 18th story apartment in the Bronx. Their bond became stronger as they explored the city, shared many traveling experiences and became acquainted with each other's family and friends. They flourished together as a couple and realized that life would never be the same without the other forever by their side. On Jen's Grandma's 90th birthday cruise in July 2019, Ben stood up and proposed at the dinner table (with not 2, but 3 birthday song interruptions). It was a memorable moment that will never be forgotten. Now they are excited to continue their journey together as husband and wife and are eager to share with you their life transition, as they join hands and families in a joyous matrimonial event!
