Once upon a time, right before the world pressed pause, two paths crossed. We met in what felt like an ordinary moment, the kind you don’t yet realize will become the beginning of everything. There was a spark, easy conversation, and the quiet sense that something meaningful had just started. And then… the world changed. Life, as it did for everyone, shifted during 2020. Time stretched, distance grew, and for nearly a year our story sat patiently in the background, unfinished, but not forgotten. Some connections fade with time apart. Ours didn’t. We used that time to really get to know each other and build something truly meaningful. When the world slowly began to open again, so did our story. Tasha made a bold, beautiful leap, trading California sunshine for snowstorms in Headingley and sunsets at Lake of the Woods. Family and friends thought she was crazy, but what could have been a “what if” became a “what’s next.” From long-distance uncertainty to building a life side by side, we found our way back to each other stronger, surer, and ready. Together, we’ve begun creating a life that blends adventure, laughter, and calm, dreaming of a future together at the lake and down south, and fully together wherever we are. This is our beginning, unexpected, unconventional, and absolutely meant to be. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.
