The Night It All Began

A chance encounter, a shared love for games, and the beginning of something special.

It all started in California in August 2018. One afternoon, Brandon had set up a projector screen when Jean noticed The Office playing—one of her favorite shows. She asked if she could watch, and from that moment on, their story began. That same day, Jean came across a nearby arcade, Neon Retro Arcade, and mentioned it to Brandon. Without hesitation, he suggested they go right then. From arcade games to late-night Fortnite rounds, it didn’t take long for them to discover how much fun they had together. Arcades quickly became a favorite pastime. They visited often, collecting tickets and winning prizes—including a matching set of Tetris lights, a keepsake from those early days.

Home Is Wherever We're Together

From coast to coast, building a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

After spending time in Massachusetts with Brandon’s family, the idea of moving there started to take shape. In 2020, Jean made the cross-country move, and a few years later, they bought their first home together. Since then, they’ve built a life filled with work, travel, and plenty of time for fun. They both work at the Daniels family business, Daniels Electric—Brandon in the field and Jean in the office. Their two cavapoo dogs, Ozzy and Leo, are honorary office assistants, while Jean’s cat, Panthro, prefers to hold down the fort at home. Outside of work, they enjoy golfing, bowling, playing video games, and cozy movie nights in their home theater. And, of course, they still make time for their favorite tradition—returning to the arcade each year to play games, win prizes, and take a photo booth picture together.

A Walk to Forever

A quiet walk, a simple question, and the start of forever.

Brandon proposed on an evening walk at Veasey Memorial Park, a spot just across from their home. It was a special moment—just the two of them (and their dogs, of course). They kept the news to themselves that night, sharing their engagement with family the next day.
