God's Plan
Their Story Their paths crossed because of a mutual friend and although she didn't play the match maker for them, their connection was undeniably present. The first time their paths crossed was on a night out with friends, while everyone else was partying they ended up talking for hours. Not having each others contact information, they lost touch. Until March of 2019 when Christina moved to Ventura for work, then the friendship began. Although they lived an hour away from each other, him in LA and her in Ventura, the distance didn't keep them apart. After dating for 6 months they decided to venture to San Francisco, living together for the first time and in an RV! After a few months of adjusting to their close quarter living space, Covid hit the world! That's when everything changed, they suddenly had to shelter in place and it became real. Throughout this journey they became each others rock, their bond and love grew stronger and now they cant imagine life without one another... So many people asked us, "Why Ventura?" Our story began in Ventura and that is why it is a special place for us. We thank you so much for being a part of our story. We love each and every one of you. See you soon to celebrate our love and commitment.

Born and raised in Los Angeles he is a west coast boy at heart, has a huge love for his home teams and he also enjoys a good documentary especially about aliens, human origins, and anthropology. Favorite quote: "He who conquers himself is the mightiest warrior."
Luis
Father of the Bride
Luis is an outdoor enthusiast, he is a hunter at heart hunting elk and deer back in his day but, these days he ventures out to a local fishing hole near by. Being from Chihuahua, he enjoys a good menonita cheese and a good machaca, he adds his twist to almost all food made at home. He tells lots of jokes and stories of his past, beware some are scary and some inappropriate. haha!

She is on the quiet side but the sweetest person ever. Her favorite drink is a margarita and after a few she's ready to cut the rug. Born in Corpus Christi Texas, she loves a good texmex band like los Relampagos or Little Joe y La Familia. Currently in her retirement years, she's become quite the farmer girl, raising and caring for all kinds of live stock.

The matriarch and heart of her family. She enjoys many kinds of music, even country! Being from Guanajuato she knows a lot about Mexican history especially about Dolores Hidalgo. She is an entrepreneur and makes things happen when she's not busy taking care of business she's at the gym taking a swim.

He was a true musician that loved singing and playing his guitar for everyone to enjoy. Although, his favorite instrument was the guitar, his talent went beyond that, he wrote songs and played various instruments. His smile and laughter were contagious, needless to say, he was the life of the party. He loved to travel yearly to his hometown in Jalisco and made sure to instill the value of family into his children . Although we cannot hear the notes of his music any longer, we know he's looking down from heaven and is part of this special occasion. Always with us, Never forgotten.

Ari a quiet soul. Believer it or not she shares the same birthday as her soon to be uncle Javier “Jay”. She is also a diva but don’t let that fool you she’s laid back and enjoys being alone cuddled up in bed. LAX is approximately 70miles from Ventura, which takes about 1.5 hours without traffic. Please be mindful of your arrival and departure time to ensure it is not rush hour, you will thank me later cause a short trip to the airport can turn into hours of commuting and we don't want that.

SBA is shorter commute of 36 miles to Ventura and much easier commute, it can be worth the extra cost of flying into this airport to avoid LA traffic.

You can take the train from Union Station in LA to Ventura, it takes about 2 hours and it costs $26 for a coach seat... From Santa Barbara Airport to Ventura it will take about 45min and cost $17 for a coach seat... sit back and relax and enjoy the view.
