We first met in high school and dated for a while before life took us in different directions. Like many young relationships, our story paused as we each set out to experience life on our own. Over the next eight years, we built our own lives, gained new experiences, learned a few lessons along the way, and grew into the people we are today. Years later, while talking with a friend. As we talked, I realized that if there was one person from my past I'd always wondered about and would want to reconnect with, it was him. Naturally, I went to look him up, mostly to show her a picture, and that's when I realized he was single. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I reached out. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into much more. From the moment we reconnected, it felt like we picked up right where we left off. We were practically inseparable, and it didn't take long to realize the connection we had years ago was still there. Only this time, we were older, knew ourselves better, and had a much clearer idea of what we wanted. The more time we spent together, the more we realized how well we fit. The years apart helped us grow individually, and coming back together showed us how strong we could be as a team. We challenge each other, support each other, and somehow make even the everyday moments more enjoyable. Looking back, we're grateful our paths crossed again. What seemed like a simple reconnection turned out to be the start of our favorite chapter yet, and we can't wait to celebrate it with all of you.
