We met on Bumble!

We swiped Right! (in so many ways)

We finally found each other during the Pandemic, in Spring of 2021, when fate slipped us into each others' DMs. Through many late night conversations and daily texts, we chatted for a month before our first date. Over the years, we've pinpointed countless times when we were in the same areas of the city at the same time--even both at the Americana during an earthquake years before we knew each other. But since April 3, 2021 our little family has been inseparable, and we couldn't be happier to become the Sanwells!

Why "Sanwell"?

It all started as a name for our first apartment together, "Casita Sanwell", combining our last names: Sanchez & Howell. We grew so accustomed to it, that as marriage became a reality, we realized there would be no better way to commemorate our new start together than by joining in union not only our lives, but our names. Professionally we'll be the same "Martha Jazmin Sanchez" & "Stephen Tyler Howell" you've always known, but personally we'd like to introduce you to the Sanwells.

Join us for dinner and drinks to celebrate our love and toast to new beginnings together!

This event will be INDOORS, though not far from the beach! You may bring a coverup, just in case! We will have a sit-down, buffet style meal.

Parking

There are a couple different parking lots, with paid parking notated on the map with an "X". At the intersection of Pacific and Venice Way, there is a PAID lot with validation from GW, for a discount. There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant that is usually full. And there is a separate PAID parking noted off of Windward Ave (the lot for the BoA). Please follow all posted parking signs and traffic signs; it's a hot bed for getting tickets (parking and moving violations) and I've seen a number of cars booted in lots for not following their policy. There is also neighborhood parking in the streets off Windward Circle...godspeed, traveler. It's a Saturday night in Venice, so know it will be busy. We suggest ride-share, if possible.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No, but we love that you wanna show up and show out! Unfortunately we have a fixed allotment of guests by plate number and cannot accommodate any additional people. All invited guests will receive their own invite, directly.

Can my kids, or any kids, come?

Answer

No, not that we don't love them! But this night we're gonna keep things light and adults only. In the spirit of love, we'd like everyone to have a Date Night with us!

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal, dinner party dress! This will be an INDOOR event in early October in Venice Beach, so you should expect cooler weather outside, but we'll be warm and cozy inside! Bring a coverup for comfort!
