Catholic Wedding Ceremony

4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Formal attire/Indian formal attire

Join us for our outdoor Catholic wedding ceremony — a meaningful moment filled with prayers, music, readings, and, of course, our vows. We’re so excited to share this special part of the day with our closest family and friends. Whether you’re familiar with Catholic weddings or it’s your first one, we’re so happy to have you there to celebrate with us!

Catholic Wedding Reception

Sat, Jan 31, 2026, 6:30 pm - Sun, Feb 1, 2026, 12:00 am

Formal attire/Indian formal attire

The celebration continues in Tatra’s elegant indoor reception space. Expect great food, dancing, and lots of love as we celebrate the start of our married life together. Additional Info Getting There: Guests will need to arrange their own transport to and from the venue. Dress Code: Formal attire is preferred — suits and dresses that make you feel your best (no tux required!). If formal wear isn’t an option, Indian formal attire (such as sarees, lehengas, sherwanis) is also welcome. Colour Palette: We’ve chosen a colour palette for the day and would love it if you dressed in those tones, if possible. Whether you're familiar with Catholic traditions or attending your first ceremony, we're just grateful to have you there with us.

Dress Code

The Wedding Website of Jason Marshall and Omisha Nagesh
Our dress code is Formal — think suits, dresses, anything classy that makes you feel your best. You don’t need a tux, but dress to impress! If you’re unable to wear formal attire, Indian Formal Attire (sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, etc.) is also welcome as an alternative. To help bring everything together, we’ve picked a color palette we’d love everyone to follow (if possible). As this is a summer outdoor wedding, we would love for our guests to dress in in soft or jewel tones (think yellow, green, brown, orange), but most importantly, wear what makes you feel best! Don’t worry, you don’t need to match exactly. It’ll make the photos extra gorgeous! A few quick things: - Please avoid super bright/neon colors and bold patterns. - Please avoid wear plain white or ivory (those are reserved for the bride). If you’re not sure what counts or want to double-check your outfit, feel free to message us! We’re happy to help — no stress at all.

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jason Marshall and Omisha Nagesh
If you have any personal questions, please feel free to email us at oandj26@gmail.com. We will get back to you as soon as we can!
Question

What kind of gift would be appreciated?

Answer

If you’d like to give a gift, we kindly ask for a contribution towards our future instead of physical presents. Your generosity will help us buy our first home, travel to our dream destination, and start this next chapter together. Most of all, we’re just grateful to have you with us to celebrate!

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Free on-site parking is available at Tatra Receptions for all guests. As the venue isn’t accessible by public transport, we recommend driving or arranging to carpool with other guests where possible.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the garden, while the reception takes place indoors. There are pathways to the gardens but guests will be seated on chairs on the grass for the ceremony. While we hope that the weather will be warm and sunny in the middle of summer, this is Melbourne, so we would advise our guests (especially those from overseas), to bring a warm jacket with you as it can become chilly later in the evening. If the weather is too hot or wet, our ceremony may be moved indoors to the chapel near the garden.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a two-hour break between the wedding ceremony and the reception. During this time, you’re welcome to wander through the beautiful gardens and Tatra estate or venture out into the Dandenong Ranges, where charming cafés and scenic spots await.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Yes, you’re more than welcome to take photos during both the ceremony and reception! There will be plenty of beautiful moments and settings to capture throughout the day. We do kindly ask that you remain mindful of our photographers and videographers and avoid stepping into the aisle or blocking key moments, so everyone can enjoy the ceremony together.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

#O&J

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception are wheelchair accessible, and assistance will be available to guide you along the best routes.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on the RSVP form attend the wedding. If a guest's name does not appear when you RSVP, unfortunately a plus one is not included. If you’d like to enquire about bringing a guest, please contact us at oandj26@gmail.com.

Question

Is the Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the same place?

Answer

"Yes, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the stunning Tatra Receptions in Mount Dandenong. Nestled in 10 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Tatra is known for its breathtaking views of the Dandenong Ranges, charming chapel, elegant ballroom, and enchanting forest surroundings. It’s the perfect setting for us to celebrate this special day with you.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

When you RSVP, you’ll be asked to list any dietary requirements. Please include all details in this section. If you make a mistake or forget something, don’t worry—you can edit your RSVP at any time to update your dietary requirements.
