Piedra del Peñol - Day Trip

This tour will take us to the town of Guatape to see the magnificent piedra del Peñol and surrounding town. The tour includes transportation there and back, where we will get to explore the historical vibrant town, boat tour and includes breakfast and lunch. The price of this tour is 109,000 COP which is equivalent to ~28 USD. If you would like to hike up the rock (by staircase of course) that is an additional 25,000 COP which is equivalent to 6 USD. If you would like to join us this day, please RSVP so we can coordinate for the group with the tour guide.

Please fly into MDE "José María Córdova International Airport" as it is the nearest international airport. MDE is located in Rionegro and will be around a 35 minute taxi/uber ride to Medellin. Por favor vuele al MDE "Aeropuerto Internacional José María Córdova", que es el aeropuerto internacional más cercano. MDE está ubicado en Rionegro y estará a unos 35 minutos en taxi/uber de Medellín.

We do recommend AirBnB accommodations as they are the most affordable. If you are unsure on location, please feel free to run it by Daniela and Jason and we will guide you! If you prefer an AirBnB vibe, we recommend guests search in the borough of El Poblado, as it is considered one of the safest neighborhoods in Medellin and has many attractions. Another good borough is Envigado, which is where the wedding venue is located. Envigado is in the Southern part of the city, and has great scenery. The surrounding neighborhoods of both El Poblado and Envigado are also great with plenty of rental options. Recomendamos los alojamientos AirBnB ya que son los más económicos. Si no está seguro de la ubicación, no dude en comunicárselo a Daniela y Jason y lo guiaremos. Si prefieres un ambiente AirBnB, recomendamos a los huéspedes buscar en el barrio de El Poblado, ya que es considerado uno de los barrios más seguros de Medellín y tiene muchas atracciones. Otro buen municipio es Envigado, que es donde se encuentra el lugar de celebración de la boda. Envigado está en la parte sur de la ciudad y tiene un gran paisaje. Los vecindarios circundantes de El Poblado y Envigado también son excelentes y cuentan con muchas opciones de alquiler.

We would love to see our family & friends dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal cocktail attire for our wedding (dresses and suits). There are so many things to do and places to see! We encourage our guests to explore areas such as Pueblito Paisa, el Parque de Envigado, La Calle de la Buena Mesa and Provenza to name a few. Medellin is also well known for its beautiful shopping malls. Some of these include: Centrocommercial Santa Fe, Oviedo, El Tesoro, and Viva Envigado. Comuna 13 - Graffiti tour
Explore the vibrant art and lifestyle of the infamous Comuna 13. This tour will showcase the town which is known for its graffiti and the history behind it. You will also be able to visit Pueblito Paisa, Parque de los Pies Descalzos, Plaza Botero and take a ride on the Metrocable. This is always a fun activity for those visiting Medellin!
