Victor and I have always been classmates. Ironically, we attended the same college and even lived in the same apartment complex—yet our paths never truly crossed. For years, we simply existed in the same spaces, nothing more than high school classmates. One of our earliest memories still makes us laugh: Victor once decided to back into a parking spot in front of my car in high school… and ended up hitting it. We laughed it off, never imagining that moment would be part of our story. At the time, not in a million years did we think we would be here. As life moved forward and we grew older, we began checking in on each other more often—especially after the tragic loss of a classmate. In those moments, our connection deepened. We shared dreams of real estate, business plans, and spoke confidence into one another daily. What started as encouragement became consistency. Consistency became trust. And daily affirmations slowly, beautifully turned into love.
