We met on Hinge, as most couples these days do, and our first date was at a mom-and-pop coffee shop in Scottsdale, Arizona. We sat at some high-top chairs in that back room of the shop, away from the noisy conversations of other customers. Fast forward 4 hours later, we noticed how quiet it was and that some of the lights had gone off. We walked up front and saw that they had closed, but had seen us absorbed in a great date, so they let us stay. Our first date was easy, filled with great conversation, and felt familiar and safe!

We have taken many trips so far in our relationship, from day trips to beautiful Sedona and Flagstaff, to European excursions. During our trips to northern Arizona, we would go on beautiful hikes in the mountains, take videos of our Tesla for our YouTube channel using our drone, or do 3-hour obstacle courses suspended 60 feet in the air. We have visited Jaron's family in Minnesota many times, celebrating Christmas and trying out winter sports like snowboarding and cross-country skiing. In winter 2023, we did a big trip to Europe with Keeran's parents. We explored the geothermal hot springs in Iceland, the quaint coffee shops in Valencia Spain, and had some fish & chips with family in England. We are so excited to be having our wedding in Ireland, a new place for us both, and for a lot of our friends and family! We always want to be able to travel and explore new places and new cultures!

On December 8th, 2023, Keeran was getting ready to go shopping with a friend. Jaron was home with her in another room. All of a sudden, Keeran heard the front door close and lock, and she was really confused! Shortly after, she received a text from Jaron telling her to rearrange her plans because she needed to solve a pirate-themed scavenger hunt to find him. The rest of the afternoon consisted of riddles hidden all over their apartment and 2 riddles that took Keeran to some popular spots where they shared special moments in their relationship (their favorite ice cream shop across from their apartment, and their first date coffee shop). Finally, the hunt took Keeran back home where she opened the door to reveal Jaron holding their kitten "Echo" (who was dressed in a pirate costume), a treasure chest, and a bouquet. Keeran opened the chest to find a red box with the engagement ring!
