We'd prefer a mostly adult celebration, but exceptions can be made, particularly for families traveling from afar - please let us know in the RSVP note.

We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible to help us finalize the details for our special day. The deadline for RSVPs is May 23, 2025 (6 weeks prior to the wedding). We appreciate your prompt response and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What should I expect at a Catholic wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a Catholic nuptial Mass, which includes scripture readings, prayers, the exchange of vows, a homily, and communion. If you're not Catholic, you're warmly invited to be present and reverent. When others stand, feel free to stand; when they kneel, you may remain seated. Call-and-response prayers can be found in the missals located in your pew, but participation is optional. For communion, only practicing Catholics should come forward—others may stay seated. Please observe sacred silence in the church and refrain from conversation until you’ve exited the space.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive by 2:45 PM to give yourself time to park and find a seat. The Mass will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, and we kindly ask all guests to be seated before it starts.

What time should we arrive for the reception?

Answer

Doors to the venue will open at 4:30 PM for early seating and mingling. Cocktail service and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 5:00 PM, so feel free to arrive anytime after 4:30 PM.

What should we do during the gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

With a little over an hour to spare, you have a few options! Feel free to head home to freshen up, grab a drink at a nearby bar, or explore the area. If you’re looking for a convenient spot, McMenamins Ringlers Bar is directly below the reception venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: The church has a small parking lot, and additional metered parking spots are available in the surrounding area. Reception: There are a limited number of metered parking spots around the area; however, we recommend using the covered parking garage at the Brewery Blocks for more availability. The garage has entrances on 12th Ave. and 13th Ave. (between NW Couch and Davis Sts.). Alternatively, there are two outdoor parking lots at SW 13th and Washington St. Recommended parking garage address: 122 NW 12th Ave, Portland, OR 97209
