Jared and Kylie’s story began on social media, when Jared finally got the nerve to send Kylie a message. They talked for a while before going on their first date to La Fogata, in Elberton, in August of 2021. Their personalities mixed so well that Kylie knew there was something special about Jared. Her feelings continued to grow stronger for him and she just knew he was the one. During Dove Season in September is when Jared says that he knew he was in love. Kylie brought him to her family’s annual Dove Hunt and says he knew then it was a match made in heaven when Kylie brought her own gun, chair, camo, and even the snacks. Then in October they found out they were expecting sweet little Brewer. This was a very scary, yet happy time in their lives. A new couple determined to navigate through living together for the first time, becoming new parents, and all of the hardships that came with that. Fast Forward to September 2022, Jared decides that he wants to spend the rest of his life with the mother of his child and soulmate. He picks out a ring and avoids Kylie for a good two weeks because he can’t keep a secret! After weeks of preparation, Jared decided to propose on the anniversary of the day he knew he loved Kylie, the Annual Family Dove Shoot. With the help of family, Jared was able to convince Kylie to go down to the river for a “family picture” in their camo, even though half of them didn’t have on their camo so she knew something was up. But as Kylie approached the river, she felt a tap on her shoulder, turned around, and saw the man of her dreams down on one knee telling her how much he loved her and asking her to marry him! God definitely had his hand in bringing them together and we can’t wait to see the beautiful life they will share!
