Due to restrictions and COVID concerns, Kyle and I have decided to get married October 1, 2020 with a very intimate ceremony to stay within government guidelines. We will celebrate with everyone at our vow renewal for our 2 year anniversary on October 1, 2022. More details to come!
We met at an Oktoberfest block party. The beer was flowing, live music was playing, the energy exciting. Even though we were having fun, I also thought Kyle was not interested in me. When he offered to drive me home, we had amazing conversation. He spoke of specific things I had said throughout the day and I realized he was paying attention! A lot of attention. The next time we spent time together, we had the best time at a pumpkin patch and had sushi for dinner. I remember thinking..."this could be something special." Since then, our conversations are endless, entertaining and effortless.
We spent a beautiful summer weekend in Whistler full of hiking, delicious food and lots of fun. On our last day, we walked around and by the creek that runs through town. He read me the most beautiful poem he wrote, got down on one knee, and proposed. He shared in my love language and spoke the most beautiful words to me. We laughed and cried and will remember that moment forever. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Seattle!
