The way we met was very this generation. We did not swipe right or left but up and down. (wink, wink). As I (Janel) was scrolling through TikTok one night, I came across a video Hayden had posted about wanting to meet new people in Arizona as he was looking to make friends. I liked the video and kept scrolling the next day he messaged me asking for my number. We made plans to hang out and I cooked him dinner yes I did. Fried chicken tacos with all the fixings, and after that he never left. Hayden asked me to be his girlfriend on March 18, 2022, then asked me to be his wife on March 18, 2023. Hayden has become an AMAZING stepfather to my son Josue, and it is so crazy how alike they are and how well they get along. The similarities in 2 people who are not blood-related are incredible their young obsession with spotting McDonald's miles away but boy do these 2 act like one another. On December 21, 2023, he became the father of our second child Mateo.
