8:00 am

Traditional Indian attire is encouraged. Sarees, lehengas, or salwar suits are perfect for women, and kurtas or traditional Indian outfits for men.

Vratham is a traditional South Indian pre-wedding ritual held with close family members before the wedding ceremony. During this ceremony, prayers and blessings are offered for the couple as they begin this new chapter. Nischayathartham is the formal engagement ceremony in South Indian weddings, where both families come together to officially bless and celebrate the union of the couple.

Festive Indian attire is encouraged! Bright colors, fun prints, and comfortable outfits you can dance in are perfect. Sarees, lehengas, shararas, or dresses for women, and kurtas or festive attire for men are great choices.

Join us for an evening of music, color, and celebration as we kick off the wedding festivities with our Sangeet! The evening will feature dance performances from friends and family, along with a special musical performance, lots of laughter, and plenty of festive energy.

MuhurthamMuhurtham

9:30 am - 11:00 am

Traditional Indian attire is encouraged. Sarees, lehengas, or salwar suits are perfect for women, and kurtas or traditional Indian outfits for men.

The wedding will be a traditional South Indian ceremony. Key moments include: Kasi Yatra: In this playful tradition, the groom symbolically renounces worldly life and sets out for Kashi, before the bride’s father persuades him to return and marry his daughter. Malai Matru (Garland Exchange): The bride and groom exchange floral garlands as a joyful gesture of acceptance and respect. Oonjal (Swing Ceremony): The couple sits on a decorated swing while family gently rocks them and offers blessings for their life together. Muhurtham: The most sacred moment of the ceremony, held at an auspicious time when the couple is formally united in marriage. Kanyadanam: The bride’s parents formally give their daughter’s hand to the groom. Mangalyadharanam: The groom ties the sacred mangalsutra around the bride’s neck, symbolizing their marital bond. Saptapadi (Seven Steps): The couple takes seven symbolic steps together around the sacred fire, making vows for their life ahead.

Formal or festive attire is encouraged. Indian or Western formal wear are both welcome — think elegant sarees, lehengas, or dresses for women, and suits or sherwanis for men.

Join us for an evening of celebration as we conclude our wedding festivities with a reception bringing together family and friends to celebrate this special occasion. The evening will include dinner, time to connect with loved ones, and a beautiful instrumental musical performance by the Blue Trio.
