Every great love story starts somewhere — ours just happened to begin in the heart of Colorado’s high country on a crisp fall day: October 6th in Grand County. We were both dressed up and part of a wedding party, celebrating someone else’s big day. Little did we know, the universe had plans to start writing ours, too. We hit it off, but let’s just say things didn’t immediately fall into place. One of the first times we hung out, Jamison disappeared into the woods on a hunting trip. His phone died (classic), he shot a deer (also classic), and hours passed before he reappeared. Paige, understandably, was not impressed — and almost kicked him out before we even got started. But somehow, we found our rhythm. We started spending weekends together, driving back and forth between Windsor and South Denver, always finding an excuse to see each other. We tried out every restaurant we could, spent more than a few late nights with friends, and made some memories we’ll never fully remember — the best kind. After a little pause and some space to figure things out, we found our way back to each other. This time, it felt different — it felt right. On April 27, 2024, we decided to go for it and officially started dating. Just a couple weeks later, life handed us an unexpected adventure. Thanks to a flight delay (sorry Chloe!), we snagged last-minute tickets to see the Turnpike Troubadours and Wyatt Flores. Somewhere between the music, the crowd, and the chaos, we looked at each other and said I love you for the first time — for real this time (the drunk bar version months earlier doesn’t count... or maybe it does?). That summer was everything. We packed it full of unforgettable moments: camping under the stars in Red Feather, dancing our way through Nashville, and embracing the chaos of Vegas. When we weren’t on the road, we were paddleboarding on Horsetooth Reservoir or floating around Windsor Lake, soaking up the sun and each other’s company. Fall brought one of the most magical experiences yet — a trip to the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival. Standing together as hundreds of hot air balloons filled the sky, we couldn’t help but feel like life had taken us somewhere truly special. Eventually, we took the next step. Paige packed up her place and moved in with Jamison in South Denver, and we started building a life together under one roof (and one WiFi plan). Paige began working as a nanny for a family with two sweet little girls, and Jamison continued guiding people through their finances as a financial advisor (which sounds serious, but he swears he’s still the fun one). After a long, busy tax season, we decided we deserved a little escape. So, off to Mexico we went — sunshine, beachside tacos, and one unforgettable moment. On April 24, 2025, Jamison got down on one knee, and Paige said yes (possibly through happy tears). And now, here we are — planning our wedding, writing our story, and feeling unbelievably grateful for the people who’ve supported us along the way. We can't wait to celebrate with you and start this next chapter — together.
