Portland's airport is located a convenient 15 minutes from downtown Portland. Uber and Lyfts are very affordable in the area. For those staying at the hotel a complimentary shuttle is available. The town of Portland is extremely walk-able so rental cars are not necessary unless you wanted to explore other coastal towns.

Boston International Airport BOS

For guests flying into Boston and renting a car, the drive to Portland is just under 2 hours without traffic. Massachusetts is cashless for all tolls, but the rest of the New England states you'll be driving through accept cash at their tolls. If you rent a car in Boston and drive straight to Maine (and are not planning on sight seeing in Massachusetts) it is more economical to wave the FAST PASS rental and just pay cash along your route. It is approximently $10 in tolls from BOS to Portland.

Portland Museum of Art: a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. Local shops: Jamie’s favorites are Soleil and Blanch & Mimi for unique finds and gifts. We love you!

We're so happy you were able to join us for the weekend! In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, we wanted to invite all our out-of-town guests to a welcome party to catch up with loved ones and meet some new friends. Pizza and beverages will be provided.

The Maine Event

Dress code is cocktail attire and don't be afraid to show us your personal style :)

Our wedding will take place on Peaks Island, and we have 3 chartered boats to take you straight to the venue from downtown Portland. The boats will be departing at 2pm and 2:30pm, we will send you your boarding times once they are finalized. The ceremony will take place on the lawn of TEIA followed by appetizers and cocktails. Due to the boat ride and lawn ceremony, a wide heel or wedge is recommended. Dinner will be served family style steak and halibut.

Transportation will be provided from the Harbor to Bubba's Sulky's Lounge. We have rented out the back room and cover will be waived for those on our guest list. Bring your dancing shoes to experience an eclectic and iconic Portland dive bar complete with a 70s light up dance floor.
