Yes! Since we’ll be in Mexico, you’ll need a valid passport to join the fiesta. Double-check that it’s up-to-date (and doesn’t expire within 6 months of travel), so you don’t get stuck at the airport while we’re sipping piña coladas without you. No passport = No tacos
Our wedding will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The ceremony and reception will be held at a beach front restaurant called Daiquiri Dick’s. Shuttles: Transportation will be provided to and from the venue. Shuttles will depart from the resort between 4:45PM and 5:15PM so everyone can be seated before the ceremony begins at 6:00 PM. Return shuttles: Provided between 9:15PM and 11:15PM back to the resort.
Fly into: Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) Getting to the resort: Ubers are safe, convenient, and inexpensive. We encourage guests arriving at the same time to coordinate and share rides. Let the Uber driver know that you are headed to Garza Blanca Resort. Return trip: On Thursday (check-out day), we’ll provide group shuttles back to the airport since everyone will be leaving around the same time. There will be shuttles leaving at 10:30am and 11:30am.
For the wedding itself, we’d love to see you in cocktail attire - light, breezy, and festive (bonus points for tropical colors 🌺). For everything else (welcome events, pool lounging, late-night tacos), it’s casual, comfortable, and very “vacation mode.”
We want everyone to feel taken care of! Dinner will include a variety of options — chicken, beef, fish, vegetarian, and vegan dishes — so there’s something for every palate and dietary preference. To celebrate, there will be an open bar throughout the evening as well as a champagne toast following the ceremony.
November in Puerto Vallarta is warm and tropical, with average highs around 80°F and pleasant evenings.
ESSENTIALS: - Swimsuits (plural - you’ll live in them 🏖️) - Sunglasses & reef-safe sunscreen (the good kind, not the sad travel-size one) - Light, breezy outfits for daytime - Light, breezy outfits for a nice dinner - Cocktail attire for the wedding - Sandals & comfy shoes for exploring (or late-night taco runs 🌮) - A hat for extra sun protection (or to look effortlessly chic) - Passport (don’t forget this one… seriously) - Small bills for tipping (USD or pesos) NICE-TO-HAVES - Beach bag/tote - Bug spray + aloe vera gel - Pesos for shopping outside the resort - Waterproof phone case or GoPro - Portable charger - Reusable water bottle (safe, filtered water provided at the resort) Basically, pack like you’re headed for a tropical vacation with a side of wedding magic ✨. If you forget something, don’t worry - Puerto Vallarta has lots of shops (but maybe don’t rely on them for your wedding day attire).
Bring em! Kids stay and eat free at the resort, and free childcare is provided.
We’ll miss you like crazy, but we totally understand. We know a trip like this is a big ask. We’ll celebrate with you back home (and probably show off way too many photos).
