How We Met
We met for the first time at Parry’s Pizza & Tap House in Colorado Springs, CO. We were both very shy but after a couple of brewskis our shyness faded away and we got to know each other past the usual first date questions. “What do you do for work?” “What do you like to do on your spare time?” Booooring blah blah blah haha. By the end of the night we were already planning our second date. Date number two I took him to the Denver Union Station (see photo). You can tell by day two of knowing eachother there was something absolutely special. Fast forward 2 years later and the handsomest baby boy ever, we’re making it official!!!
The Proposal
As you know us, we are not a traditional couple. We are absolutely out of the box. We had ordered rings through one of James’s lifetime friends who owns a jewelry store. James had mine custom made so I didn’t know what it looked like. When they came in the mail he let me open the box and yall it was the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen. So I took his ring box, got down on one knee and asked him to marry me. Right there in our kitchen. There was no fancy proposal. No weeks of planning and anticipation. Just a simple, I love you. You love me. Let’s do this baby! Of course he said “yes!”
