How We Met
Funny story. James and I have known of each other for years. My dad told me one time when I was single how he knew this nice man through corn hole and I asked him who. He said “James Belcher” and I said “absolutely not”. Then one day I went to the Baldwins and he was there playing corn hole. We didn’t really say much to each other, but as a group we all had this brilliant idea to go to Ocean City that weekend. We did end up going and I decided to ride with James and it all went downhill from there….lol. Just kidding.
The Proposal
Our third year of dating we went on vacation to the OBX…of course. We were playing corn hole…..of course….lol and James asked me to go on a walk with him. We walked down to the beach sat and talked for a little bit. I remmeber asking him if he thinks mermaids are real. I honestly had no clue or suspected anything. We started to walk back and and he took my drink set it down and started getting down on one knee and I asked him what he was doing cause I was obviously confused still and he pulled out the ring. :) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the beach!

Most of our guests are renting and Airbnb for the week of 8/31/25-9/07/2025, which is how long we are staying. You can come and join us for the week or come down for a few days. Booking, travel expenses, etc are your responsibility.
