We're Getting Hitched!

As some of you may know, we've decided that a big wedding isn't for us. So we're running off to New York and getting married in Central Park just the two of us. We appreciate everyone's acceptance and support on our choice to do this but we also hope that we can drag you all out for one big shindig to celebrate when we get home.

FAQs

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Of course! We will be providing a buffet, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Please let us know of any dietary requirements More excitingly - we are encouraging the idea of a PUDDING COMPETITION - If you would like to bake, create or concoct a pudding and bring it we will have a little vote and there will be a prize for the winner - (just let us know if you are thinking of it so we don't end up with 50 trifles)

Question

What about alcohol?

Answer

We've decided to put some basic drinks behind our bar (ran by the lovely Bob) such as beers, wines and soft drinks. However if you would like anything specific, or spirits (rum, gin etc) then you are welcome to bring your own.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Put your gladrags on for us. James would look silly being the only one in a suit! Wedding reception attire is encouraged, but little ones - please wear what you like we just want them to be comfy. Ladies (and gents if you so choose) please be mindful of your shoe choices, this is all on grass so no stilettos please - otherwise the garden of the Guest family will look like a crumpet.

Question

Is there Parking available?

Answer

There is space at the venue for a few cars but 30 seconds down the road is the village church where you can park. We advice car sharing if possible.

Question

What about Gifts?

Answer

The best gift is having you share in this special day. Should you wish to contribute in some other way, we would love a few pennies to put in our pot , for future adventures after we’ve tied the knot

Question

Any other questions

Answer

Please get in touch - no such thing as a silly question, and we haven't thrown a shindig before so we might've forgotten something :)
