Jeeps, Cats and TTRPGs! One summer day in 2022, we met through a mutual friend after Audrey had gotten her Jeep. Jay had his Jeep, and we hit it off talking about our plans for modifications for our rigs. After a few months passed by, we found commonality in more than just our Jeeps: both of us shared a love of tabletop role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop games. Our friendship grew through some of the most difficult times in our lives, and we learned to lean on each other's friendship. We both adore cats, and we are the caretakers of multiple rambunctious kitties. Our life together so far has been full of adventure and fun, and we thank you for joining us on this next big adventure!
Bride
Audrey is a fun, feral, Disney-esque princess. She loves animals and has compassion for everyone and everything she meets. She loves singing loudly on car rides, enjoys crocheting and cooking, and always has a smile or laugh to share. Her favorite past time is studying herbalism, and she hopes to one day be a practitioner of herbal medicine.
Groom
James is an adventurous, compassionate veteran, and has a wicked sense of humor that compliments his intelligence! Having served 27 years in the U.S. Army, Jay retired in 2021 and holds a PhD in Physics. He loves cracking jokes and making people laugh. His empathy for others is one of the main things Audrey loves about Jay. He loves to build and engineer things to help improve life around the house, and he is always ready to help others. He has enthusiastically taken an active role in helping to raise Audrey's daughters, Annika and Rebekah.
Maid of Honor
Ramiyah and Audrey have been friends since 2022! Ramiyah is creative, confident, and has a big heart. She has been by Audrey's side through so much life in such a short amount of time, has provided emotional support for the couple, and is a source of delight and happy memories for Annika and Rebekah. Ramiyah's positive and artistic perspective is one of the many reasons we love her and are happy to have her by our side on our big day!
Best Man
Jon has been Jay's best friend and brother for countless years through military service. They have shared many special memories together throughout the years such as the births of children, marriages, and multiple duty stations together. Jon and Jay always keep a room open for each other, and if the other calls, they will stop what they're doing to answer and make sure the other is okay. They are godfather to each other's children.
Bridesmaid
Lily is Jon's youngest daughter and goddaughter to Jay. She is an up-and-coming artist and musician. She plays the clarinet, and she loves to sketch and play Genshin Impact. She is a brilliant, positive young woman with an infectious laugh and a wicked axe-throwing arm. We are excited to have her vibrant, loving self with us for our special day.
Groomsman
James is the groom's eldest son and Jon's godson. Following in his father's footsteps, James served in the U.S. Army for five years. He enjoys content creation, Dungeons and Dragons, and Magic! The Gathering. His sense of humor mirrors his father's, and he always has a witty quip to cheer someone up.
Bridesmaids
Annika and Rebekah are Audrey's daughters, and they are the light of both Audrey and Jay's life. They have been anxiously awaiting the day that Audrey and Jay get married. Annika is the eldest, and she loves cats, reading, and being artistic. Her favorite media for art is watercolor painting and drawing Rebekah is the youngest, and she loves being outdoors, helping Audrey garden and take care of the plants, and building stuff with Jay.
Groomsman
Sebastian (a.k.a Bash) is one of Audrey and Jay's best friends from their Jeep group, 254 Jeeps, who became a part of the family. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years. He is like an uncle to Annika and Rebekah. He love Dungeons and Dragons. He is learning to accept and love himself as he is, and we are happy to have him by our side both on our wedding day and in our daily lives.

Emerald Tavern is a great little restaurant, coffee shop, and bar for the TTRPG player in your family! It has wonderful, medieval ambiance and large selection of board games, card games, miniature figures, dice, and other gaming accessories. (Audrey specifically recommends a London Fog and the chicken tikka masala!)
While our wedding does fall on Halloween, we request that Halloween costumes are left at home. Our wedding will take place at Sherwood Forest Faire, and as such, we request your best (PG and family friendly) Renaissance Festival and/or Fantasy garb. Wedding party colors will be emerald green, black, gold, and plum purple so please avoid those colors as the primary option for your outfit.
Simply put, no. We are not permitting Halloween costumes as they don't fit with the vision we have for our wedding.
Amazon has great options for budget-friendly attire for the venue. For ladies specifically, Audrey recommends Scarlet Darkness or Holy Clothing as a great source of inspiration. Scarlet Darkness: www.scarletdarkness.com Holy Clothing: www.holyclothing.com
