Our story could have begun long before it even did... We grew up a mile apart and attended the same school from 2nd grade (when Jake's family moved to MN!), through high school, where we met at the Senior Prom. We both had different Prom dates, but by chance landed in the same group. We sort of knew "of" each other, and had mutual friends, but never really talked. When both of our dates ditched us at Prom (it's ok, you can laugh), Jake walked up to Emma who was sitting on the side of the dance floor alone and introduced himself. We got to talking and decided to make our way to the photo booth for some awkward pictures together. Little did our 18 year-old selves know, this would become the beginning of our forever. After graduating from Eden Prairie High School in 2017, we both attended the University of St. Thomas for college where Emma was Jake's biggest Track & Field super fan, and Jake, Emma's biggest Tommie Marketing Club supporter (and only boy member). After graduating college in 2021, we moved in to our first apartment together in St. Louis Park, fostered a rescue dog, and began our careers in Real Estate and Marketing. Jake proposed to Emma in November of 2024, surprising her with all of our dearest friends and family. In 2024, we also purchased our first home together in South Minneapolis. We have had so much fun making our house a home, but the best part has been the recent addition of our sweet dog, Monty. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding (and 10 year dating anniversary!) with each and every one of you. You are all a piece of our story, and our day wouldn't be the same without you there.
