Jackie and Roy first met during their junior year of high school. Jackie was quiet and reserved, while Roy was outgoing and surrounded by friends. But their story was far from over. In February 2019, while Jackie was working a shift at a jewelry store in NorthPark Mall, she spotted a familiar face walking by with his family: Roy. She was thrilled but couldn’t leave her post. The moment she had a break, she grabbed her phone and messaged him: “I just saw you!” That message led to catching up—and eventually to dinner plans later that week. On February 13, they had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, and from that point on, they became inseparable. They found every excuse to spend time together—shopping, doing homework, running errands, even tackling chores. It didn’t take long to realize what they felt was real. On April 25, 2019, Jackie and Roy officially became a couple. Over the years, they’ve grown up side by side—from age 22 to 28—navigating life’s highs and lows, learning, evolving, and witnessing God's hand in their journey. Now, as they step into a new chapter together, they are committed to letting God lead their marriage in the direction He desires. Jackie y Roy se conocieron en su penúltimo año de High School. Jackie era tranquila y reservada, mientras que Roy era extrovertido y siempre estaba rodeado de amigos. Ese mensaje fue el reencuentro. Se pusieron al día y terminaron haciendo planes para cenar esa misma semana. El 13 de Febrero fueron al Cheesecake Factory, y desde entonces no se han separado. Buscaban cualquier excusa para verse: salir de compras, hacer tarea, ir por un mandado, ¡hasta hacer quehaceres juntos! Y claro, era inevitable. El 25 de abril de 2019 comenzaron oficialmente su noviazgo. Con el paso de los años han crecido juntos—de los 22 a los 28—pasando por momentos buenos y difíciles, pero siempre viendo cómo Dios ha estado presente en su camino. Hoy, al comenzar este nuevo capítulo, su deseo es que sea Dios quien guíe su matrimonio, como lo ha hecho desde el principio.
