Which airport should we fly into?

Answer

There are 2 options for airports to fly into. -Option 1 is flying into San Diego international airport and taking a taxi, uber, or rental car to the San Ysidro border crossing to walk or drive across the border, which is about 20 minutes from the airport. We will have transportation waiting to take arriving guests from San Ysidro to the wedding venue. -Option 2 is flying into Tijuana airport, which is located conveniently at the San Ysidro border crossing on the Mexican side. We will have transportation from the border crossing to the wedding venue, however, if you prefer to drive to the venue there is plenty of safe parking there as well.

How do we get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Driving: Driving from San Diego to the wedding venue is very easy and takes about 45 min. Simply enter the address into your GPS (Los Pinos 1, casa playa, 22714 primo tapia, B.C, Mexico) and directions will take you through the San Ysidro border crossing into Baja California. There are rarely delays going through the border crossing into Mexico. After getting through the crossing, follow your gps and signs for Rosarito. There are two, $3 dollar tolls on the way to the venue. Having singles for this is highly recommended. Walking: Another way to get to the wedding venue from San Diego is using the pedestrian bridge San Ysidro border crossing (720 East San Ysidro Blvd, San Ysidro, CA 92173) where we will have transportation to the venue. You will purchase a Border Crossing Express ticket at the kiosks and will use the printed ticket to scan access at a later point. The entry takes minutes and the pick up is quick and easy. For this option please coordinate with David and Jacqueline.

Where do we stay?

Answer

Guests have the option of staying at the wedding venue itself in arranged shared lodging, or renting a place to stay in one of the nearby rental options. Please see the lodging options recommended in the travel section of this site, decide which you think will be the best fit for you and your party, and indicate your choice in the rsvp form. David and I will be coordinating with all guests staying at the venue and will be in touch soon!

Please feel free to arrive anytime Friday after noon or Saturday morning. Check out Sunday will be around noon.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

No. We do not have a registry. We have found we have most of the usual registry items and can spare not adding more of these items to our cozy apartment. All donations to our wedding will be used for honeymoon and future home funds. Thank you all in advance❤️

Is there anything fun to do in the area?

Answer

Down time can be very enjoyably spent during this weekend in Baja. A few recommendations include: -pool time at venue -surf at Rosaritos beaches -atv in dunes located 5 minutes south of venue -wine and dine in downtown rosarito or Valle de Guadalupe -day shop in puerto Nuevo or downtown rosarito -wellness spa experience in resorts nearby
