Beaches
Drake's Island is the quiet one. Wells Beach if you want company.
Outside
Laudholm and the Rachel Carson Refuge are worth a walk if you haven't been in a while. Seven miles of trails, salt marsh, undeveloped beach. September light is exceptional.
Kennebunkport & Ogunquit
You know them. Go anyway.
Food
Congdon's. Joshua's for dinner if you want to make a night of it.
On the Water
September is a good month for whale watching out of Kennebunk if you've never done it.
