Flash back to our first date, where we enjoyed some Rita's Italian Ice and Chick-fil-A. After our bellies were full, Jake suggested a short little ride with Hank. We boogied across the street, up on a hill that overlooked Jake's favorite place... Greenfield. We shared our first kiss while Billy Currington's song Good Directions played in the background. After our first date, we spent nearly each and every day together in some way. We visited some of our bucket list places, attended the concerts of our favorite bands, ate many meals (by meals, we mean pizza), and of course had many laughs. There were many road trips, flights, nights in, and days spent in the pool together. We started our flock of chickens. Hank became a momma's boy. Every day our friendship grew and we just couldn't get enough of one another. Anyways... two years later, we were back up on that same hill where we had our first date. This is where Jake decided to propose. He got down on one knee and said, "well?" How beautiful. That day changed our lives so deeply... in more ways than one. After the proposal, waiting for us back at home was all our closest family and friends. We celebrated, had some pizza and drinks, and the night ended with Jake being tossed in the pool. Coincidentally, 9 months after our engagement, we had our son Casey. The first day of his life, was the best day of ours. It's really a blessing to create a mini version of us both, and to be be able to parent with your soulmate. & Now we're getting married. We get to share the day with our son, family, and friends. All the people closest to us celebrating our love and connection. We are so, so ecstatic to have you all in our lives. Drinks, dancing, and good times to be had by all.
