We met at the Sandhills during a Halloween bonfire and hit it off from then on.

Funny story, Jake and I were laying in bed as he was FaceTiming his grandma. They were talking about an upcoming camping trip that we had planned. Grandma Sharon then asked Jacob if that’s when he was going to propose to me. I SCREAMED! I was so excited and asked if I could have the ring then since I knew about it! Of course he told me no. A week later, Jacob and I decided to make a last minute trip to meet my family for their annual Lake Tahoe vacation. We decided to drive around and sightsee, since this was Jacob’s first time in Tahoe. We finally stopped and found a quiet private beach, were my parents took “family photos”. After we had taken our photos with the kids, Jacob proposed! There was a homeowner sitting on their balcony who screamed with excitement when they saw Jacob get down on one knee! Of course I said yes! I had no idea he was proposing that soon, since he told me I couldn’t have the ring a week ago. It was the most perfect and unexpected proposal!
