How We Met
Our story began in 2017 at Van Andel Arena. We were both working—Jaclynn with the Griffins hockey team and Walter at the arena. We quickly hit it off, with Walter often finding excuses to visit the social media lounge where Jaclynn was working. After reconnecting in 2020, we went on our first date, and things just clicked. Now we’re here, ready to say "I do" and start this next adventure together!

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be for adults only. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! We kindly ask that our guests dress in semi-formal attire. Think cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or suits and dress shirts.

Where should I park?
Answer
For the ceremony, there are several parking lots surrounding Cathedral of St. Andrew in Cathedral Square where you may park. For the reception, please park in the main John Ball Zoo parking lot. There will be directional signs and greeters near the entrance to guide you to the transportation that will take you to the treehouse.
