When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony and reception will take place at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026. Please arrive by ~3:45, the ceremony will begin at 4pm.

How do I get there?

Answer

Parking in the La Jolla neighborhood is extremely limited and spots at the Martin Johnson House will be reserved for vendors, so we recommend ride-sharing (Lyft, Uber) to the venue. There will be signs to follow to the Martin Johnson House.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a ton of great hotel and Airbnb options around San Diego. We recommend staying in La Jolla, Del Mar, Torrey Pines, or Pacific Beach for proximity to the venue and neighborhood amenities.

What should I wear?

Answer

As Jeff Spicoli once said, no shirt, no shoes, no diiiiiiice. Beyond that, we recommend wearing something between casual and cocktail that you're comfortable walking on grass, dancing, and eating a taco in. It can get chilly on the water at night and the venue is all outdoors, so you may want to bring an extra layer for the evening. And honestly, shoes are optional.

Due to the size constraints of our venue, this will be an adults-only party.

Is there an after party?

Answer

The Martin Johnson house kicks us out at 10pm. We've reserved the patio at Hennessey's Tavern near Prospect street in La Jolla to keep the party going.
