3:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Our home
135 Smith St, Apt 1, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Casual

Come kick off the festivities with us as we modernize a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to celebrate our families joining together. Light refreshments will be served.

City Hall Wedding Ceremony

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Dress to impress

New York City Hall does not allow people to come inside to the ceremony with us, but we would love for you all to meet us outside to mingle, take photos, and begin the celebrations.

Dinner

5:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Early on, we had a sweet date and an incredible meal at L'Artusi that quickly made it one of our favorite spots. We're excited to share this spot with our closest friends and family.

After Party

Fri, Sep 26, 2025, 10:00 pm - Sat, Sep 27, 2025, 12:00 am

Location TBD

This event is optional, as we love (and encourage) an early night. However, for those who would like to keep the night going, we'll be making our way to either karaoke or some other activity.

Travel

We're excited to welcome our out-of-town guests into our fav city and are happy to give any recommendations you may be looking for. If you will be staying the weekend or coming early, we're also happy to coordinate spending some extra time together and we really appreciate you making the trek. Given the intimate ceremony, we do not have a hotel block anywhere. However, we are able to help you find your perfect hotel - please reach out to us and we can share our recs!

House Or Rental

Our Home

135 Smith St, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Our apartment is located in Brooklyn. If you need our address and want to stay near us, we would love to commute to and from events together. There is both a Hilton as well as an Ace Hotel within a 5min walk from us.

Things To Do

We've both lived in NYC for 7 years - the best city in the world! There is something for everyone here and we would love to help you craft your ideal itinerary (mostly Ivy). That being said, here are some of our favorite places and things to do if you'd like to make the most of our time in the city.

Fotografiska NYC

281 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10010

A bite-sized photography museum with incredible collections. Nothing overwhelming and in a prime location between Flatiron and Union Square.

Brooklyn Bridge Promenade

Brooklyn Bridge Promenade, Brooklyn, NY

A great view of the city and one of our favorite spots to take a walk in the neighborhood.

Domino Park

15 River Street, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Where we went on our first date :-)

AIRE Ancient Baths New York · Tribeca

88 Franklin Street, New York, NY 10013

If you want to splurge on a relaxation moment - this is the place to do it. No phones allowed!

Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre

242 East 14th Street, New York, NY 10003

Ivy's fav improv! Ian hates improv (it makes him anxious). Do with that information what you will.

Librae Bakery

35 Cooper Square, New York, NY 10003

The best pastries.

Potluck Club

133 Chrystie Street, New York, NY 10002

One of the best brunch and dinner spots in the city. Snag a reservation if you can but there is bar seating.

Shinzo Omakase

89 East 2nd Street, New York, NY 10009

The best 13 piece $69 omakase we've had in the city. You need a reservation!

Scarr's Pizza

35 Orchard Street, New York, NY 10002

Our fav slice shop in the city.

Registry

We'll post our registry here when we're finished building it. Thank you in advance!

FAQs

Question

Why are your events on Thursday and Friday?

Answer

City Hall is only open on weekdays, so we are celebrating during the week. That being said, if you are unable to join us on Thursday for the welcome event, we completely understand.

Question

What are your plans for the weekend?

Answer

At this point, we plan on just relaxing and winding down! We will probably want to spend some time with our families and our friends who are flying in from out of town. If we make more formalized plans, we'll let you know

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Given we are doing an extremely intimate dinner, we unfortunately had to limit the guest list to people we both know really well.

Question

Is there transportation to and from City Hall to dinner?

Answer

Dinner is a 15min train ride and car ride from City Hall. There will not be formalized transportation otherwise.
