I had joined EHarmony to try to find someone special and was about to take a break from the dating world when Mike messaged me. We were both instantly intrigued by each others profiles. I found out later, that I was the first and only person that Mike messaged on EHarmony and that he deleted his profile very quickly after meeting me. We talked for a few weeks before agreeing to meet. Mike picked our first date to be at a local Thai food place that just so happened to be my favorite! Later, he proposed at that same Thai restaurant and I of course said yes! In so many ways we felt perfect for each other. Mike thought I was elegant and posh and I thought he was handsome and kind. We bonded over our shared love of nature, travel, Asian cuisine, gourmet food, reading, and cozy video games like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. We have three black kitties, Iris, Onyx, and Felix. I knew Mike was special when Felix, our resident scaredy-cat, came out of hiding the first time that Mike was over. Our love has grown every minute we spend together and every adventure we have taken. In late 2024, we bought our first house together and are slowly but surely making it into a home! We feel so incredibly lucky to have found each other and get to fall farther in love each day.
