Isiah and Violetta have known each other practically their whole lives. An elementary school friendship, turned into a high school friendship that turned into a relationship. Their first date prior to making it official was in 2017 at a JCole concert in Downtown Phoenix. On August 7, 2017 Isiah asked Violetta to be his girlfriend, her response was probably something along the lines of “Finally!”. Fast forward 7 and a half years later they are so excited to say “I Do!” and spend the rest of their lives together.

While Violetta was having a mid-nursing school crisis of wanting to book a trip to, her favorite place, Hawaii in order to get away and relax she didn’t have any other expectations. Meanwhile Isiah thought this would be the perfect time to plan a proposal! She will never expect it he thought. On their first day arriving in Waikiki, Hawaii, Isiah looked cool as a cucumber but he was so nervous about traveling with a secret. As they arrived at the hotel they were told that they are running behind on checking people in and that the room will not be ready for another two hours. Isiah starts panicking a little considering the fact that we might miss our transportation which was booked to go to a beautiful luau that night. Usually being the cool calm and collected one he starts visibly worrying. Once the couple gets in the room they frantically change and run to the bus that was on its way to leave them behind. A gracious worker allows them on and they head to the luau. Upon arrival at the luau Isiah right away says “Let’s go take pictures by the water”. As Violetta is fixing her hair and is getting ready to take pictures Isiah goes up to the photographer and is telling her that he is going to propose. Violetta still had no idea although she did find it suspicious as to what it is Isiah needed to tell the photographer. They take a couple pictures then Isiah turns to Violetta and proceeds to propose with the most romantic choice of words. As he gets down on one knee and asked for her to marry him he opens the box and the ring flys at her, literally. He grabs the ring swiftly as Violetta says “Yes!” And they both cry and laugh at the same time as the crowd around them cheers.
