Flight Tips for U.S Friends
From San Diego, British Airways is the only carrier that flies direct to London (Heathrow, the biggest airport) If you are leaving from Indiwell on Sunday July 19th, we recommend getting a flight in the afternoon from Heathrow airport. It will take about 4 hours from Indiwell by either bus or train but is doable (Matthew did it over Christmas holiday!) Let us know if this is your plan so we can make sure you get to your transport.

Rail Travel to and from Indiwell
There are two stations near to Indiwell: Tiverton Parkway: Hourly or better service, 3 hour journey from London but nearly 40 minute car ride to Indiewell Barnstaple: Hourly Service but 4 hour train with transfer from London (very scenic), only 15 minute car ride to Indiwell If you are traveling to or from these stations at any point around the reception, please let us know so we can arrange transport to and from the station. Trainline (you can download the app) tends to have decent prices and is easy to compare options. There are other ticket platforms available. For those meeting up with India and Matthew in London prior to the reception, we will book tickets for everyone to travel out to Indiwell together

What should I wear?
Answer
Think garden party! Not too formal, just something fun, colourful, and comfortable. We aren't expecting you to wear a fascinator or even a suit jacket since it may be toasty. Also, summer weather is unpredictable in England! Make sure you bring a rain jacket and shoes that are comfy and can get a little mucky (wellies and boots are welcome!! The grass may be muddy)

Is everyone invited to the after party?
Answer
Everyone is invited, but we made it a separate event for those who just want to attend the reception. The reception will not have alcohol but at the after party there will be cocktails and dancing.

Do you have a registry?
Answer
We do not have an online registry since it is difficult to coordinate monetary gifts with the difference in currency, but if you would like to give us a small gift that we can take back to San Diego we will have an area you can put those gifts. We will also have a basket for cards. Thank you so much!

Will there be food?

Yes! There will be a wood-fired pizza van at around 3pm and homemade desserts

Do I need a visa to come to the UK?
Answer
You will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation to enter the UK now. It costs around $26 to obtain. Please make sure to visit the official UK government website!
