How we met
My Axelito and I first met on November 28th, 2019 — a day I’ll always remember, not just because it was Thanksgiving and my parents weren’t too happy, but because it was the start of our story. We originally crossed paths at Cristo Rey High School, where I’d see him in the hallways with a friend and secretly thought he was cute. Life brought us back together years later through social media, and that’s when everything truly began. Finally, on February 15, 2020, he formally asked me to be his girlfriend. I never in a million years imagined that this friendship would result in marriage and communion with God, but the Lord works in great ways. Now, five years later, I can’t thank Diosito enough for this beautiful relationship. What started as hallway glances turned into the greatest blessing I could’ve asked for.

My pops is everything to me. He has taught me so much and has always been by my side. He offers excellent advice and is always looking for the greater good. My father is a dedicated man who NEVER complains and provides a great example. Thank you for all of our “cup of joe” coffee dates & for all of my childhood memories. l’ll never forget all of the Menards visits to see mom or when you would walk our bikes to school. My dad has earned his title and I wish everyone could feel such a love from a parent. Thank you, “papito flow”, for doing what you could to provide us with everything we have and more.

When it comes to my mom, there’s so much I could say. She is my best friend who has done so much for me and I am immensely grateful. Looking back, my mom has given me the fondest childhood memories. She always provided us with what she didn’t have as a child and always strives to do what’s right. She showers each one of us with an unbelievable amount of love; a love that can only come from a devoted mother. My mami makes me whole - she has taught me that to love others requires forgiveness and has set a good example of what it looks like to love Christ. The love you have shown Aly, Rudy, and myself will never be forgotten. I love you, Mami, and while this new adventure is a little scary, you've raised me rightly, and because of you, I'll know how to love my own family.

My suegris never fails to include me in her family, as she tells everyone I’m her daughter. She has taught me many things including to kill others with kindness, to always be a helping hand and to be selfless. I see Diosito moving in her each day and I am beyond proud of how far she’s come. Suegris, I thank you for many things, but the biggest blessing of them all is your son.

My baby sissy. I remember when you were in Mami's belly; she ate so much watermelon, bro. When we would come home from the grocery store, Rudy and I would throw hands because we had to help mom carry the watermelon inside every time lmao. I remember the day I was told you were born and driving back home with you for the first time. Growing up with you has been the greatest blessing Diosito has ever bestowed. My sister is outspoken, one of the most beautiful people I know and is lovable all around. Even though this new chapter is difficult, I want to thank you for always lending a helping hand and having an open heart at such a young age.

My Tia Adriana is very strong, passionate, and down to earth. I still vividly remember the days where I asked you to teach me the super bass rap by Nicki Minaj. I feel like we grew up together, and I witnessed many of your accomplishments. From getting your license and seeing you drive for the first time to having Gabito. You are an amazing tia and a lovely mother. Thank you for constantly educating me and keeping my best interests in mind.

Abby is my best friend of 8 years now. She is extremely intelligent, gracious and compassionate. I can’t believe we went from making silly videos in the car after school to now asking you to stand up in my wedding. I'm not being biased when I say my parents' relationship is admirable. I mean I do live with them, so I know what’s going on. No relationship is perfect, but my parents have set nothing but a good example for my siblings and I. When I told my dad I had a boyfriend, he was not happy, but now, 5 years later, my parents love my Axelito. My parents stand true to their marriage and it’s thanks to God because of it.

Yesenia and Nico are simply two of the coolest and most genuine people I know. In addition to being the most amazing wedding planner, Yesenia has assisted in a variety of ways. Her affection for Axel and I has been there since the beginning. This couple had no idea, but we surprised them over dinner by telling them we were interviewing them as potential padrinos and their reaction was “hold on, let me order another drink”. You two are hilarious, and I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for us both individually and as a pair.

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is August 10, 2025. Ayúdenos con nuestros planes, reservando lo más pronto posible. Sin embargo la fecha límite es el 10 de agosto.

Is there a dress code? Hay un código de vestimenta?
Answer
No, there is no dress code. The only thing we ask is that no one wears brown or green. No, lo único que pedimos es que no usen los colores café y verde.
