Paths crossed at the Park
The day after Thanksgiving in 2020 at Almansor Park in Alhambra, CA, Kyle was walking with his parents, and as they made a lap around the field, they headed towards the kids' play area. From afar, Kyle saw Krystle and her best friend (Christina) working out. He told his parents, "Hey, I’ll be right back. I see some friends from Cal State LA." With a nod, Kyle made his way over to say hello. Initially, Krystle and Christina didn’t recognize him because he was wearing a face mask due to COVID. As he approached and said hello, they seemed cautious, probably thinking he was just some weirdo (Kyle) interrupting their workout. But thankfully, since he's not a weirdo :') , they happily greeted him and caught up. We all planned to work out together the following week, but Christina couldn’t join due to peak COVID concerns, saying, "I can work out in January," even though it was only November. Krystle and Kyle decided to continue their workouts together and met up the next week, just the two of them. When the workout date arrived, they began their workout and soon shared similar experiences about grief and loss. They paused, looked at each other with a knowing glance, and decided to talk about it. They then grabbed acai bowls on Main Street and headed back to the park. Krystle drove them in her green Toyota Yaris, and found a nice shaded spot next to the baseball field. They spent the next four hours talking about everything—from past relationships to family, dating, hobbies, and dreams. From that day on, Krystle and Kyle have been inseparable.

Semi-formal beachy floral vibes. Ceremony will be on the beach, so ladies skip out on the heels and wear wedges or sandals.

Nope! You can book your own resort stay and airport transportation independently.

What if I don't want to stay at the same resort the wedding is at?

We would be sad to have only one night to celebrate with you. If you choose to stay elsewhere, please let Alejandra Valdez, our wedding group coordinator, know in advance so we can ensure your name is added to the guest list for resort access on the wedding day.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and camera during the wedding?

We ask if you can refrain from taking photos during the ceremony but after we say "I do" please take all the photos until your hearts are content!
