Please dress up and express yourself, but be comfortable! In terms of levels of fancy, cocktail attire is appropriate. Every part of the celebration will take place in the same location, but the ceremony will take place outside (there will also be outside seating for dinner), so we recommend bringing some layers and/or a light jacket! There will be an area for you to store your coats, belongings, and change of clothes, if you so desire.
We have all the stuff that we need, but if you would like to make a monetary contribution (of any size!) to our honeymoon fund, you can find that on our website under "registry". Thank you for your generosity!
While this wedding is kid-friendly (up until 10 pm), we do need to be conscious of numbers and capacity. If your child wasn't included in your invitation but you would like for them to attend, please check in with Stella or Idris.
Due to capacity restrictions, we have only given plus ones to friends and family who are traveling from far away and may not know many people at the celebration. If you have not been given a plus one, it's because you will have a lot of mutual acquaintances in attendance and we know you will have a fantastic time with them! We appreciate your understanding.
No, we are not helping to organize lodging or travel. Please see the travel notes for some advice regarding neighborhoods to stay in and methods of getting to the wedding venue. If you are unfamiliar with NYC and have questions or would like further recommendations, please feel free to reach out.
Travel Note
There are a variety of hotel options in Long Island City for between $100 and $300 a night; any hotel in the area will be close to the wedding venue as it's a pretty small neighborhood! If you'd like to stay in another borough, Manhattan will be easiest by train, but in Brooklyn, Downtown Brooklyn or Greenpoint would also be good options for ease of travel.
Travel Note
The venue is located in Long Island City in Queens, New York. We recommend traveling by cab or Uber, or by train: taking the M or R trains to the 36th Street Queens Station or taking the N or W trains to 36th Avenue Queens Station.
Flight
If you are staying in Long Island City or Manhattan, La Guardia Airport will be closest. But travel via car or train is fairly straightforward from JFK or Newark!
