How It All Began 🖤 We like to say fate got tired of being subtle. Maria and John kept running into each other through mutual friends — different events, different places, same two people crossing paths again and again. Eventually the universe was basically shouting, “You two… figure it out already.” Spoiler: we did. When It Actually Became Something 🖤 Defining our “first official date” is a little tricky, mostly because we spent months casually hanging out, grabbing food, and pretending it wasn’t already becoming something big. But we do know the moment everything shifted: July 30th, 2020, in Roger Williams Park — our first kiss. A few months later, on October 10th, Maria officially agreed to be John’s partner, and the rest unfolded naturally (and beautifully). Falling in Love 🖤 Maria knew it was love when she realized she couldn't go a day without caring how John’s day went. What started as curiosity turned into comfort, and then into that “Wow, this is my person” feeling that doesn’t come around often. The Proposal (Kind Of) 💍 Romantic candlelit orchestral proposal? Not exactly. At 6am on May 22nd, 2025, one of us (we’ll let you guess who) basically said, “Hey, let’s get married today.” Did we actually do it? No. Did we start planning from that moment? Absolutely. Call it spontaneous. Call it chaotic. Call it us. Our Beautiful Life 🖤 Today, we have a warm, full home and three beautiful children we adore. Our family is complete — and our hope is simply to continue growing our home, our memories, and the life we’ve built together (but not the number of kids… we’re good! lol).
