Meeting Ian
Ian and I met on my second visit to Kirksville, Missouri. Sherrie, my sister, was attending school at Truman State University. Sherrie said she had someone she wanted me to meet. I have her to thank! Well…he wasn’t who she meant. But , I knew he was the one for me! He is kind, generous, responsible, reliable, and bonus he dresses well. Oh yeah, plus Ian was my best friend Edward Alvarez’s frat brother. Ian always had time for me. We had time to get to know each other while Sherrie worked hard studying in school. We would talk, watch television, and eat meals together. I wanted him to know how I felt. One day, I made a confession and the rest is history.

What to wear?
Answer
We want you to feel comfortably stylish. We hope for lots of photos to share with everyone. Therefore, we ask that you wear something semi-formal. No jeans or gym shoes. Don’t worry we won’t have a best dressed contest.

As much as I love children ….We hope you enjoy this day with us child-free.

Please let us know about any food allergy or special food diets as soon as possible. Vegetarian options will be available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There are three parking lots nearby, costs range from $9-$12

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Due to the small size of the wedding, we do not have a shuttle for the venue. We recommend car pooling with some of the other guests or ubering to the site.

Please arrive between 2:30pm to 2:55pm. Ceremony will start promptly.

The first row of chairs are for immediate family only. The rest of the seats will be filled up based on your choice. There is no special sides for bride and groom. We view you all as special in our lives and would like for you to feel welcomed by each other.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Please do not take photos during the wedding ceremony. We would like everyone to live in the moment, treasure it and be present on this wonderful day in our lives. You are more than welcome to take photos during the reception.

Where is the reception ?

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location and floor. Immediately, we can celebrate this joyous occasion.

We were unable to provide plus ones to every guests. We have so many special people we would of loved to invited, but this will be a more intimate ceremony. Please feel welcome and get familiar with other guests. We promise all of them are wonderful people.
