Hyun & Stephen first met through a running club in New York! Although they knew of each other for a while, the first true encounter took place when Hyun joined a dinner hosted by Stephen as a guest of a friend. Their first date was attending an art fair called TEFAF at the Park Avenue Armory, followed by tea time at Alice's Tea Cup. Stephen was drawn to Hyun's passion for art, especially evident when she described her liking for de Kooning. They both visit TEFAF every year to celebrate their first date (and of course appreciate art).
