How we met
It all started in the climbing gym, a place that has continued to be integral to Matt & Holly's relationship over the years. It was Holly's first day in Albuquerque, moving back after 7 years away. She was in the home stretch of her Physician Assistant program and had spent the weekend driving from St Paul to Albuquerque with her mom, Elaine, and decided to hit the gym before her first day at UNMH. Matt had been climbing regularly on Mondays for about a year, and was waiting for his friends to arrive. They were working on a climb in the same area of the gym and both still remember the words that sparked their first conversation: "hey, nice heel hook". After just an hour together that day Matt asked for her number, and they've been inseparable ever since.

This is another fantastic option for places to stay in Santa Fe. It’s not right on the plaza, but only one mile away. They offer complementary shuttles during the day so you can explore the area if you’re staying for more than just the night of the wedding. Keep in mind that if you are driving to La Fonda and want to park in their parking garage, it is a $30 fee for more than 4 hours. Sandia Foothills Open Space
A large network of trails that are interconnected and suitable for all skill levels! We recommend parking at the Michael Emery Trailhead or Embudito Trailhead. We spend a lot of time oh hikes, walks, and runs in these foothills!
Meow Wolf Santa Fe
A wild and unique interactive museum experience. Also often has live music on weekends and is a kid friendly day activity. This one is a Santa Fe must see
Georgia O'Keeffe Museum
There are lots of fantastic art Museums in Santa Fe - Georgia O’Keeffe, Museum of International Folk Art, and NM Museum of art. Santa Fe has a lot of style and history which is amazingly demonstrated at these places

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
La Fonda has a parking garage for guests, which is $30 per day, so we definitely recommend carpooling. The cathedral lot across the street is $15. Parking along the plaza is free after 6pm but may be limited. We have a hotel block at the venue and most of the other hotels we listed are within walking distance (less than half a mile).

Can I stay at the venue?
Answer
Absolutely! Our ceremony and reception will both be held at La Fonda, and we have a hotel block there. If you’re able to, we definitely recommend staying here. The other hotels we have listed are all a very short distance away (most are walking distance!) and have similar Santa Fe vibes

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will be providing complementary all you can drink beer, wine, margaritas, and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a fully staffed cash bar for any other drinks you may want.

Where should I send/bring my wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. A wedding card box will be at our reception

If I’m flying in, where should I fly to?
Answer
Fly into the Albuquerque airport (ABQ). It is just one hour away from Santa Fe.
