We met at church. I saw him for the first time carrying wearing a red Knights of Columbus shirt, and carrying Holy Mother with his dad, and though….hmmm….I’d like to meet him. I was somewhat apprehensive at first, but was given the opportunity to get to know him better when we started learning ukulele together! As time went on, we formed a good friendship around our faith life, being of service to others in our community, nature, and family activities. He is my best friend, he knows what I am thinking even when I try to hide it, and picks me up when I am down. I’m very blessed to have him in my life!

When Holly met me we didn’t hit it off. I thought she would be a wonderful friend but she didn’t give me a second look: We played music and prayed together and realized that God was working in our lives; giving us what we could never had hoped for: two happy families and a future filled with love and new life. We came together through prayer and I fell in love with her. She became my best friend. God gave me everything.
