We went to the same pharmacy school, but it’s funny—our paths never really crossed back then. We were just two people, lost in the crowd, focused on our own lives. But life has a way of bringing people together when the time is right. It wasn’t until we started working together at CVS that something sparked. We had an amazing boss who created a supportive environment, and it gave us the chance to really see each other. As we navigated the long shifts and challenges, especially during the storm that was COVID-19, we found ourselves leaning on each other more and more. In those tough moments, we discovered a connection we hadn’t realized was there before. Five months into this unexpected friendship, we couldn’t ignore the feelings that had grown between us. We decided it was time to give what we had a different title. The next few years weren’t always easy—we faced our share of ups and downs—but we held on, figuring things out together. Then, on a scorching summer day in Florida, we knew it was time to take that next big step and give our relationship a new name: fiancés. Together, we've discovered that the best adventures are the ones we create with each other, and we feel so grateful for our partnership.
