How We Met
We met on Tinder in February of 2023. Our first date was at Gattitown and we instantly felt a connection toward each other. We decided to date each other in hopes that it would last a lifetime. Almost a year later, Darrius proposed and we started planning a life together.

Question
What is the dress code?
Answer
This will be a formal event. Please use our wedding as an excuse to break out the fancy outfit you've been wanting to wear. We ask that people avoid wearing jeans or white/ ivory. If you would like to match the theme, you can wear blush or mauve.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Due to vendor requirements, we will not be having alcohol at our wedding.

Can I bring my child/ children?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, this event will have an age limit. We ask that you leave children with a caregiver and enjoy the night off!

Can I take my own pictures of the bride and groom?
Answer
We will be having an unplugged ceremony to avoid cellphones and other devices being in our professional photos. However, there will be several opportunities to get pictures of the newlyweds and with each other during the reception.

What kind of food will be at the reception?
Answer
We plan to send out a menu soon!

What kind of music will be at the reception?
Answer
There will be a little of everything at the reception. We plan on having everything from Disney to common country music to Lil' Wayne. Later in the night, some of the music will be explicit, so it is up to you if you would like to stay.

Where do we park?
Answer
The venue wants guests to park across the street in the Lancaster Lot on EKU's campus. This will be the lot next to the Lancaster pedway. There are also a few spots in front of the building that we ask to be left open for those who have difficulty walking long distances.

Are gifts expected?
Answer
The greatest gift you can give us is your presence. If you insist on giving a gift, we will link our registry on this website or you could add to our cash honeymoon fund at the wedding.

Please RSVP by February 8th, 2025. This will give us a head count for food and chairs to be assigned.
