Our Story
August and Chris have been together since November 2018. Their journey began as their professional careers crossed paths in Washington, DC. On May 13, 2023, while August received her Masters degree, Chris proposed to the love of his life at her graduation party. From the moment their journey began, they knew that they were destined to be together. Now, they are ready for the next chapter of their relationship to begin.

There is ample parking available on site. However, to fully enjoy our wedding experience we highly recommend Uber or Lyft.
Flight
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
DCA is the closet airport if you plan to fly in. BWI has more flights available. However, is an hour drive from all event locations.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, we ask that all guests wear black formal style attire. Indivduals who discard the dress code, will be kindly asked to leave.
Question
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
All events will take place indoors and at the same location.
Question
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
There is ample parking available. However, we recommend Uber and/or Lyft so you can fully enjoy the Harmon Wedding experience.

Can I bring my kids? Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, kids under 21 will not be allowed to any wedding events with the exception of flower girl and ring bearer. Plus ones have been allocated by the couple.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
Answer
We secured a hotel room block for guests traveling from a far. Please review Travel section for more details.
Question
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Answer
Unfortunately, no pictures nor videos will be allowed during the ceremony. Annoucement will be made by the host. Please allow photographer and videographer to capture this beautiful moment. We truly appreciate it.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
September 6, 2024 was the RSVP deadline. After this date, we will not be able to accept RSVPs from any guests. RSVPs will open August 1, 2024. A reminder will be sent via phone and/or email.

Do you have a wedding registry? Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Answer
Please find our wedding registry on Amazon under August Williams & Christopher Harmon. A cardbox and gift table will be available on wedding day.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
Answer
There will be an open bar. Food selections will include chicken, fish and vegetarian options (please be sure to select the correct option during RSVPs). Light hors d’oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Our wedding will be a very intimate celebration. The guest list has been carefully hand picked for our close loved ones.
Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Ceremony will start promptly at 3PM. Please plan your travel time accordingly to arrive by 2:45PM. If you arrive after 3PM, you will be asked to stay in your vehicle until the ceremony is over. Doors will reopen during cocktail hour.
