Our Story - minus the juice you're looking for lol

20yrs later and his view from the stage still looks the same

A long long time ago...before AI and whatever "Rizz" is...Mike was playing a show with the first band he was ever in. In the very back of the crowd, he spotted a pair of blue eyes looking in his direction. They gazed at one another throughout his entire time on stage. After a few days of "who was that girl?", a loud ding rang from his computer! It was her! They became friends instantly. They'd talk for hours on Yahoo Messenger. Sometimes, they'd be on the phone all night and Hayley would have to sneak the cordless phone back onto the charger before her grandpa woke up. They spent time building a friendship that was pretty unique. A friendship based on Honesty and Trust. They both knew they felt a spark between them but life had other plans. It just wasn't "their time". Some years would pass and Hayley would eventually leave for a new life in a new place. For seven years, they lived separate lives with very minimal contact. Minus both of them admitting to some light Facebook stalking lol. Then, one day, a loud ding rang from his phone! It was her! The bright blue eyes he'd never forgotten were now staring at him from a facebook profile photo. He opened a message that read "Hey, I'm coming home to Chicago to visit for a fews days". Next thing you know he was cleaning his apartment, getting a haircut, shopping for a fancy new shirt(the kind with buttons and special washing instructions), and RENTING A CAR(no bs... his car was really crappy and he wanted to impress her). "I picked her up from her family's house and she walked to the car in what seemed like slow motion. I died as her blonde hair swayed with every step. My heart felt full in an instant as my body felt a calm I've never known before. I faced a truth I felt I'd known for so long. I've loved this woman from the first time her ocean blue eyes looked into mine. Please don't let her figure out this is a rental." - Michael She didn't stay in town long, but they spent almost every minute of her visit together. A few months later, the company she worked for closed shop and she moved back to Chicago. Time had eluded them for so long. Now here it was. Gift wrapped and laid softly into their hands. They wasted no time and started dating immediately. For the first time in their lives, they were boyfriend and girlfriend. They've spent these last few years taking their time loving each other. Traveling and making memories. They've wandered cities(lost lol) hand in hand. They've enjoyed coffee together while watching the sunrise in the middle of the ocean. They've pulled each other through airports completely hungover(okay, this one was just Hayley). There are many memories left to be made. They plan to make the most of every bit of time they have with each other. "We can't wait to spend time with you on our special day. Come celebrate the start of this next adventure with us! See ya there!!" -Hayley

The Big Day

3:00 pm

Blissful Barn
4706 Watson Rd, Three Oaks, MI 49128

Semi-formal: Think wedding attire. Suits, dresses, dress shirt & slacks, etc.

You'll want to rethink heels as the grass is soft and the barn floor has small cracks/holes that could cause a problem.

Travel

Blissful Barn is just under a 90-minute drive from Chicago. It's an even shorter ride on the Amtrak! For guests planning on staying for the night or weekend, we recommend spending time in nearby New Buffalo. Relax in this charming, family-friendly beach town that hosts boutique shops, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and some truly beautiful hiking trails. Feeling lucky? Roll the dice at Four Winds Casino and Resort. There's no shortage of places to stay, things to do, and memories to make in a town once recognized by Travel + Leisure magazine as one of America's "50 Best Places to Travel". PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES ON HOTEL BLOCKS.

Train

Amtrak

We've taken the Amtrak train from Union Station in Chicago(CHI) to New Buffalo(NBU) and it couldn't have been easier. Usually a little over a 1 hour trip. Tickets are often as low as $13 and you won't have to deal with any traffic!! Look for "Wolverine" or "Blue Water" trains.
