How We Met

Spring 2012

In the heart of Wisconsin Dells, amidst the laughter and warmth of friendship, Jeramey and Hayley's story began. Fresh out of college, Hayley found herself welcomed into the fold of her cousin Ben's tight-knit circle of friends. Little did she know, among them stood Jeramey, a kindred spirit whose path was about to intersect with hers in a moment of serendipity. It all started by the poolside of the family's timeshare, where Jeramey made sure to position himself just close enough to spark a conversation with Hayley. Their initial exchange was nothing short of electric, with laughter and easy banter flowing effortlessly between them. In that moment, amidst the splashing water and sunny skies, a connection was forged that neither would soon forget. What began as a chance meeting by the poolside blossomed into a beautiful friendship, with Jeramey and Hayley forever grateful for the twists of fate that brought them together.

Life Continues

After their memorable spring break in 2012, Hayley and Jeramey parted ways, returning to their respective paths with fond memories tucked away. Jeramey resumed his studies in Grand Forks, North Dakota, while Hayley immersed herself in her family's business back in Menomonie. However, the allure of new horizons beckoned, leading Hayley to pursue her passion for healthcare and pursue an MBA at the University of Indiana (Fort Wayne). As the years passed, life took them on separate journeys, with Jeramey delving into a manufacturing career in Minnesota and Hayley building her professional path in Indiana. Nearly 600 miles apart, their lives unfolded in parallel, each step bringing them closer to their shared destiny. Then, like a serendipitous twist of fate, Thanksgiving of 2018 reunited them once more. Seven years had passed since their spring break adventure, yet the spark of connection remained, igniting anew as they found themselves face to face once again.

A Crazy Cab Ride

Home for the Holidays

As Thanksgiving of 2018 dawned, it brought a joyous reunion reminiscent of days gone by. Ben, the orchestrator of gatherings, rallied his high school friends for a weekend of laughter and fun, a celebration marked by camaraderie and perhaps a few too many adult beverages. In the midst of the evening, Jeramey found himself immersed in games and banter with Ben, his brothers, and their close-knit circle. Yet, as the night transitioned from home and towards downtown Menomonie, a twist awaited. A cab was summoned, and as a rowdy crew assembled and piled in, a familiar voice rang out from the front seat. "Hey Cousin!" Ben shouted to a figure in the front seat, to which a voice, filled with warmth and familiarity, replied, "Hi Cousins!" It was Hayley, already nestled in the front seat, her presence igniting a spark of determination within Jeramey. With resolve in his heart, Jeramey embarked on a mission of his own – not to indulge in more libations, but to restore his clarity and composure. Recognizing the significance of the moment, he diligently hydrated for the remainder of the evening, each sip of water a testament to his commitment to making a memorable impression. As the night unfolded, Hayley and Jeramey found themselves drawn together, their conversations flowing effortlessly as they exchanged tales of the past seven years. From that moment onwards, their connection only deepened, transcending the physical distance between Minnesota and Indiana. Their encounter that Thanksgiving marked the beginning of a journey filled with shared laughter, heartfelt conversations, and the unwavering bond of friendship blossoming into something more. And thus, the rest, as they say, became a beautiful chapter in their shared history, woven with the threads of love and destiny.

Together at Last

January 2022

Embracing the opportunity for professional growth, Hayley embarked on a rewarding journey with a global manufacturing powerhouse, where her dedication and talent propelled her upwards through the ranks. Driven by her ambition to lead and inspire, she set her sights on a plant manager role, a decision that sparked numerous conversations with loved ones, including Jeramey. After thoughtful deliberation and the unwavering support of family and friends, Hayley made the bold choice to make Minnesota her new home. Despite the geographical distance that once separated them, their hearts beat in unison as they forged ahead in their shared journey. Now, both residing in Minnesota albeit nearly an hour apart, Hayley and Jeramey embraced every opportunity to nurture their bond and deepen their connection. The following year and a half unfolded with a tapestry of unforgettable experiences – from embarking on adventures together to delving into newfound hobbies, each moment a testament to their shared love and commitment. Their journey was punctuated by cherished milestones, from traveling together to standing side by side at each other's family holiday celebrations.

The Christmas Bells RING

December 2023

In the midst of the holiday season's twinkling lights and festive cheer, Hayley and Jeramey found themselves nestled in the cozy embrace of a cherished tradition – decorating their Christmas tree. Little did Hayley know, amidst the glittering ornaments and shimmering tinsel, Jeramey held a secret close to his heart, a symbol of a love that was ready to bloom into forever. As they carefully adorned each branch with memories of seasons past, Jeramey's heart beat with anticipation, knowing that the perfect moment had arrived. With trembling hands and tears of emotion glistening in his eyes, he reached for the final ornament – a vessel of love and promise concealed within. With shaking hands Jeramey presented the ornament to Hayley, his voice quivering with emotion as he tried to explain wanting to start a new tradition. With a mixture of surprise and overwhelming joy, Hayley's eyes widened as she beheld a beautiful ring nestled within the ornament's delicate embrace. In a moment that would forever be etched in their memories, Jeramey asked the question that would change their lives forever – "Will you marry me?" With tears of happiness streaming down her cheeks, Hayley uttered a resounding "Yes," her heart overflowing with love and excitement for the journey that lay ahead. In the tender embrace of their love, they shared a moment of pure bliss, their souls intertwined as they discussed a future filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures together as husband and wife.
